Evidence
Every claim, and where it stands.
The register below lists each phrase in the approved SPRAYTIDE brand material that makes, or could be read as making, a regulated claim. It records the source, the current status and what this site is permitted to say today.
Evidence
Brand-approved does not mean substantiated.
SPRAYTIDE is pre-launch. The formulation is not final, no clinical work has been reviewed, and no patent documentation has been assessed. Rather than write around that, we publish the status of every claim the brand could make.
Validated product fact
An observable property of the product or the delivery format. Stated plainly, without implying a benefit.
Legal review required
Approved as brand language, but capable of being read as a comparative or physiological claim. Held for legal sign-off before it carries any weight.
Substantiation required
Not published. These require claim-specific evidence, and no evidence has been reviewed. They appear nowhere on this site outside this register.
Jurisdiction-specific
Permitted wording depends on the market. The supplied artwork is non-US, so classification, net contents formatting and marks are all held pending US review.
What is not on this site
- No clinical study has been reviewed, so none is cited.
- No patent has been verified, so no patent is referenced.
- No absorption comparison has been substantiated, so no rate or multiple is stated.
- No customer has used the product, so there are no testimonials, ratings or counts.
- No partner or institution has endorsed the product, so no logos appear.
Absorption, patent and clinical evidence will be published here when it exists and has been reviewed, with the comparator, method and endpoint stated. Until then this page is the complete picture.
